Course Description
The study of principles of anatomy, physiology, and eastern philosophy.
Psychological aspects of massage therapy.
The study of different methods of massage modalities.
Upon completion of the program, the student will:
- know basic anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology of the human body
- know the theoretical foundation of different types of massage therapy
- know somatic psychology and eastern philosophy
- be able to perform a full body massage for relaxation, pain reduction, muscle tension release, and sport rehabilitation
- be able to perform a professional massage for a specific ailment
